Carveth Read

Carveth Read — was a 19th- and 20th-century British philosopher and logician. He was born 16 March in Falmouth, Cornwall, England. Moral Sciences Tripos, 1st in and an M. In the preface to the fourth edition of his book Logic: Deductive and Inductive , he identifies his significant influences.
